And what if we dared to say what we feel? And what if there were no fears or pasts or uncertainty or distances? And what if we believed more than we doubted, and if we were braver now than maybe we were in the past and braver than we would ever dare to be in the future because we realize this now is the only thing we have? And what if we no longer contained those immense desires to steal each other’s kisses, to bestow caresses and offer intense glances? What would happen, I wonder, if we would let the heart fly instead of imprisoning it in cages made of fears and assumptions? Maybe then we would understand that love comes not when we want it but when it is most needed.
