Jealousy

How many times did I hear “You can’t be jealous” or “Jealousy isn’t good. And how many times did I slap myself with my hand on my forehead.
So I can’t? So I shouldn’t be huh?
My answer is I can fucking be jealous!
Shocked?
Here’s the thing. Communication comes in many forms and ways. Ever noticed that you do more self communication than you actually communicate with your partner? No? Then you should take a day or two and pay attention to yourself.
Like I have mentioned before. Communication comes in many ways and forms. Your thoughts, your talks, your body language and your feelings.
You wanna tell me you can shut them all off? Good luck if you want to get away with that lie. It will keep coming back.
Jealousy isn’t bad and there’s nothing wrong to feel it. It just shows you the following possibilities, and I won’t mention them all.
Your relationship isn’t as established as you thought it is.
You haven’t put in enough effort working on your insecurities.
You’re afraid to loose.
Your communication sucks, because if it would have been great? Your man/ woman wouldn’t get into those situations. And if he/ she does/did on purpose? Then it’s time to move on.
So all the warnings, signs or feelings mean nothing? Just because you don’t want to be jealous no matter what?
You’re damaging yourself. Maybe you’re lucky and you’re able to manipulate yourself to a point where it works for you. Just don’t think that will work forever. It’s more of a bandaid for a certain amount of time. Just don’t think you’re free of jealousy. It keeps coming back.
I choose to attack anything that shows me there’s a problem. I don’t keep my mouth shut. I talk to my partner about it and if nothing changes? I’m gone.
But communication alone isn’t enough.
You gotta be willing to accept you can feel that way. Knowing you can do something about it. That is to make a decision.
You can talk about it with your partner. If he’s /she’s truly into you? He/she will offer to help working on it.
You can work on it on your own. Which probably leads into frustration and agony.
You can work on it with trustworthy friends.
But do your own something good.
Don’t say jealousy is something bad when all it does is communicating with you. Letting you know there’s something not the way it should be.
Too many people think or say jealousy is negative. When it’s nothing but a self communication. A hint for yourself.
